Hospital Visit!!

Since I have been laid off from work I have been painting my moms house on the 2nd floor. Which includes 3 huge bedrooms, one huge bathroom that is almost the size of a persons bedroom a master bedroom with a huge walk in closet and a bathroom and a hallway. I started on one of the rooms over the last two weeks and I did the layer of primer on the walls. I saved the ceiling for last. I have a lot of problems with Arthritis and Muscle spasms in my neck. The day after I did the ceiling I started to get a pain in the right side of my neck. For the most part it was like a regular pain I have always had when I get a flare up or a little spasm of stress. Well then the next day it started to get worse so I loaded up on the max dose of Tylenol and Aleeve. Thursday night I took some Tylenol PM and went to bed on my right side. I woke up at 4:45am and tried to move and I couldn't. I couldn't move my arms or my head. When I tried all the pain rushed to my head and I felt like I was going to pass out. As I got nervous of something bad happening I woke aaron up and said call my mom tell her to meet us at the hospital to take the kids. Sorry mom for the call at 5 am on a Friday. Turns out I just had a major muscle spasm in my neck that felt like an on going charlie horse that you get in your legs or something but wouldn't release. I got two awesome shots in my rear and had about 4 days of recovery ahead of me. So the point of this story is someone who knows that they have issues with their neck should not paint ceilings and I should get paid for loss and sufferings!! :) I should have taken a picture of me with my head all sideways to document it but I didn't. Maybe next time.

Boys will be Boys!!

Aaron and Daniel wanted to go golfing on Sat. so I was nice and babysat all the kids. We enjoyed playing outside for the whole time. Okay just really the kids enjoyed it. There was a little bit of a breeze and I don't like just being out there doing nothing. I got some cute pictures of them riding the Rhino. Anna their friend came down to play with the boys. Cameron likes her. They were all pretty good for the most part. Caiden likes to hit Broody and no matter how many times I tell him he can't he still does. AHHH the joys of little ones hitting.

I was a Junior at Davis High working at the Delta Center on the Suite Level. I watched a lot of TV and ate a lot of food.

3. Take a nap with the boys because we all know Caiden needs his sleep as well as me

One busy week!

With Sarah and her kids visiting this week we did a lot of fun stuff. We went to the Clearfield aquatic center and had to go down the big water slide about 25 times with certain kids. Kylie got blue arms from being so cold. She only ways 16 pounds so it was bound to happen I guess. We went to Classic Skating and did the bounce zone and pirates cove for about 5 hours. I ate to much pizza that day. Then the zoo!! That was the best. The animals were out and playful and the bonus side was that their were not a lot of people there so it made it more pleasant. We went to the park a couple of times and Sarah and I swung on the tire swing so hard that I got a huge bruise on my thigh from trying to get us to go faster. We both pulled into the center of the swing and the center of gravity took us for a wild ride. Oh the joys of almost puking and wetting our pants. I only got pictures of us at the zoo.

The Big 64

We had a big birthday party for dad last week. He is getting up there I must admit. We had a blast however making his cake. My sister Sarah has been up from St. George visiting us and we had this great idea to make him a special birthday cake. He is a truck driver for Yellow transportation so we made him a semi. We only had two kinds of frosting to work with so the coloring is not up to scale. We are getting pretty good at cake decorating. don't look at the mess in the kitchen. We baked food and cakes and pies and Cinnamon rolls all week long.

TIme on my Hands!

So I have had a lot of time on my hands lately to reflect on my life and my kids. Yes I am jobless again. Being laid off twice in 6 mos I have realized I need a new occupation. Being home for a couple of days I have slept a lot and ran after my kids cleaning up their messes. I am afraid that I am getting used to staying home as well as my kids are getting happy with me staying home. It is really going to be hard to go back to work. I have to say I have the cutest kids in the world. I think they need a baby sister.
