how uncomfortable are shoes?!?!

O.K. so I am finally trying a pair of shoes with a heal. I am trying to wear more nylons with my skirts and I have noticed that I do not have a pair of brown sandals without the strap between the toes. My mom and I went to Ross tonight. I have always gone to the ones down in Salt Lake since I have always worked down there and I can never seem to find anything that I like. The new one in Layton opened up recently and we decided to check it out. My mom was only looking for work out shoes and I well I am always up for a shopping trip. Anyway I found some brown Pumps from BCBGirls that I purchased. They were $35.00!! That would have almost bought 2 boxes of diapers. I have not spent that much on shoes in a long time. Well I did just buy nike's for 39.99 but they will last me about 5 yrs like the last ones I just had to replace.

Why do we buy shoes that are uncomfortable? Is it for looks or to by in style or do they really feel good on your feet? For me I would rather buy a 10$ shoe that is not in style, comfortable and I can wear with every outfit. I have reached outside of my box in style and trying something new. I will try and find pants to match these shoes and wear them to work later this week and update on how it went. I was to lazy to take a picture of them so I tried to find some as close as I could on the internet. The style is the same just they are tan and brown with the letters bcbg all over them. There is no buckle either.

ABC!!!

The boys love to sing the ABC's. We were driving home one day from somewhere probably Walmart and the boys starting to sing really loud like at the top of their lungs. When I got home I had to tap them doing it. I wanted them to do it louder as I recorded them but they got shy. Lately cameron has been wanting to count to 100 all the time. He can go to about 30 by himself and then he needs help.

Goodbye Grandpa Garcia

Grandpa Garcia passed away this last week. Him and Grandma were married for 66 years. He had a kind little spirit and loved everyone. The kids made him laugh and smile the minute we showed up to visit. He served in World War II in Europe and was a devout Catholic to St. Patrick's Parish and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He was laid to rest at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in the avenue's very close to parents. We love him very much and will miss seeing him in his chair when we go visit Grandma.

I LOVE THESE KIDS!!

O.K. so Cameron and Caidens new word for the week is Hairtock. The next door neighbors went and got their hair cuts and when they got home they were done kind of in a Mohawk style. The boys both shouted out loud "cool you got a Hairtock!!!" It was cute. Every time they get their hair wet they want it in that style. I don't if they just can't so Mohawk or if they heard hairtock somewhere. Who knows the mystery of toddler talk!

April Fools

I love this day!!! It is the only day out of a yr where you can make up something funny. I know I am bad. I have probably jinxed myself and will become pregnant!! Erika I have been known to be gullible myself as well. Hillary you will definitely have to do it next yr and tell your husband it is another girl!! I have a hard time trying to play jokes on Aaron he is to good he can always tell when I am joking. Cameron has learned from Preschool this week that everyday is a different (new) day. All day he has been asking me what new day is it today? And what new day will it be tomorrow? He is so smart he picks up on everything. Well I am on the mend I have full rotation in my neck but still have a sharp pain when I look up or down or use to much of my muscle. I swear I need muscle and joint replacements my body is getting to old!!!
